
Author Bianca Killmann
Bianca Killmann, Master of Arts, studied German, French, and Computational Linguistics and completed a traineeship at Motor Presse Stuttgart. After positions at Specialized, where she was responsible for PR, sponsoring, and events for the American bicycle manufacturer in the European market, and in the health and nutrition section of Men's Health magazine, the former professional athlete became a freelance writer specializing in design, food, and sports.
World stage and pocket
As a child of the "coal mining region", Killmann returned to the Ruhr area after years of education and professional travel from the world stage, which she knows like the back of her hand and appreciates for its cultural and culinary diversity.
Excellent books
Two of her cookbooks have won the German Cookbook Award and the World Cookbook Award. The authenticity of her work is valued in the international sports scene, for which Killmann works as a ghostwriter. In addition, the German studies scholar has written biographies of renowned figures. Designer How Ettore Sottsass Junior, Ingo Maurer, Archrizoom, Studio DDL, Joe Colombo, Antoni Gaudi, Gae Aulenti, Achilles and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni and others, and the painter Salvador Dalí and their designs made a name for themselves.
Killmann lives and works in Essen and Biarritz.
