Recovery, rest, balance and growth
Green is the color that is closely associated with nature. Green stands for relaxation, peace, balance and growth. It relaxes, de-stresses and symbolizes regeneration and new beginnings. Brands that want to give their product originality, purity and naturalness make use of this property and effect. As a secondary color, green combines the radiance of yellow with the coolness of blue.
'Green lung', 'green hell', 'green behind the ears', 'not being green to someone', 'the same in green' - these colloquial expressions show the ambivalent connotation associated with green. The location also plays a role in whether green is perceived as neutral, rather positive or rather negative. In parts of Europe, green is rather commonplace and therefore nothing special. In China, on the other hand, the color green is a symbol of vitality and mercy. In the desert, green can only be found in oases and is therefore synonymous with life and paradise.
Green has long since become a trend color for interior design in urban living structures. Walls, armchair, chairs, cushion and carpets - almost everything is available in green. A very special effect is achieved by combining different shades of green: walls in a pale green, couch or armchair covered in dark green velour, a green-patterned carpet, chairs in bottle green - there are few limits to the possible combinations.
How about, for example, a green hallway with an opulent chandelier and cozy armchair that welcomes you home after a long day and makes you forget the stress? A neutralization lock, so to speak. No problem, anything is possible with green!
Design objects in orange have a very special aura. Not only do they set prominent color accents, they also provide a clear increase in joie de vivre and sociability. Comparable to the orange fruit, the color orange provides vitamin C for your home.
