The Geometri pattern is reminiscent of prints by the world-famous French painter and graphic artist Victor Vasarely, which are still used by the Victor Vasarely Fondation today. Vaserely is one of the co-founders of the Op Art movement. The renowned artist, who designed the Renault logo among other things, celebrated his 60th birthday in the 1960s. In Danish, but also in Malay, the noun "Geometri" simply means "geometry", the mathematical term for spatial theory.
