The construction
Taccia is a lights classic from the Italian design duo Achilles and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. The table lamp was designed in 1962 and has been part of the Flos Taccia and Taccia Small consist of a transparent, hand-blown glass shade. An aluminum reflector ensures that the light is emitted upwards and to the side. The shade and reflector are held by a chrome-plated steel tube that is embedded in a cylindrical base. The base of the Taccia table lamp luminaire is TAGWERC can be configured in three different versions: with fish made of brushed aluminum, brushed bronze or in simple Black. With its wave relief, the base of the Taccia and Taccia Small table lamp is reminiscent of a Greek column.
