The bed is characterized by its minimalist, no-frills design in Bauhaus style, which is based on high-gloss chrome-plated tubular steel. The bed is now also available with a powder-coated steel frame in deep black. The headboard and footboard are also made of this material, giving the bed a clear, modern and elegant look. The slatted frame is hooked into the headboard and footboard without any additional tools. This simple yet ingenious design makes it appear to float between them.

Alfred Roth was a representative of Neues Bauen and modernism. The architect, Designer and university lecturer worked in Le Corbusier's Paris office, which is why his bed designed for the Weissenhof Estate in Stuttgart was mistakenly referred to as a Le Corbusier bed. His Roth bed not only reflects the Bauhaus style, but also stands for Swiss precision and design.
