Gravita table- & floor light

Geometric shapes

The silhouette of the Gravita table lamp is based on three combined geometric shapes: a cylinder and two spheres. Gravita is the Italian word for gravity. And indeed, the Gravita table lamp has something weightless, something cosmic about it. You could almost think that the Gravita lamp was modeled on George Lukas when he developed the droid character BB-8 from the Star Wars film series. An aluminum base with an integrated LED bulb holds the perfectly shaped, hand-blown Murano glass sphere. A smaller, magnetic aluminum sphere is connected to the base by a spiral cable and has the second LED light source.

Dimensions and application

With a height of 51.7 centimetres and a depth of 63.1 centimetres, the glass globe measures 40 centimetres in diameter. The LED bulbs provide a combined output of 24 watts with a light color of 3,000 Kelvin, which corresponds to warm white light. The Gravita table lamp is powered by a 2.5 meter long power cable. Its special design recommends the luminaire as a desk and task light. Gravita also provides zone lighting wherever aesthetics and partial lighting need to come together.
