Tappeto Cielo Carpet

Polka dots, checks and diagonal stripes

Cielo is one of three carpets based on the iconic Farfalla-Sample from the design group Archizoom in the style of Radical Design. Centro Studi Poltronova In collaboration with CC-Tapis, this revives the brilliance and grandeur of Italian designs from the 1960s. The iconic pattern forms an avant-garde contrast between floral Art Nouveau decor and the experimental Pop Art of that era. The Carpets Farfalla, Prato Cielo extracts the main components of the original pattern, namely a butterfly above a meadow under the sky. The carpets are characterized by an expressionistic explosion of primary colors and simple, geometric forms, filled with graphic elements such as polka dots, checks, and diagonal stripes – typical of works by artists like Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol.

Creativity and inspiration

Cielo by Poltronova is a true work of art, blending design history with the demands of modern interiors. Because Cielo's form is fluid and neither round nor angular, the rug adheres to the principles of Feng Shui. According to this philosophy, natural materials like wool, as well as flowing shapes, balance hard materials and angular forms such as tables, cabinets, and the like. Blue It has a calming and cooling effect and is suitable for rooms with a lot of heat as well as rooms where creativity and inspiration are to be promoted, such as home offices and offices.

combination of texture and color

The dominant color in Cielo is a royal blue, enlivened by abstract stars and a suggestion of the Milky Way. The irregularly curved carpet edge is finished with Black accentuated. The rug is hand-tufted in India. This allows the rug's unique effect to be achieved through a skillful combination of texture and color. Due to their expressive design, the rugs from the Poltronova collection are particularly noteworthy. TAGWERC These carpets can be used not only as floor coverings but also as wall hangings – ideal for areas with a lot of concrete, unused wall and floor space, and austere areas such as hallways, offices, and reception areas.
