Joe Ball pouf
On the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary, Joe Ball was created, designed as a footrest for the Joe Baseball armchair and can also be used as a separate stool. Joe Ball is covered with leather in the desired color and has the typical shape and stitching of a classic baseball. As a natural complement to Joe armchair, the pouf is stabilized by a weight inside, which also prevents it from rolling away uncontrollably. In this way, Joe Ball can also be used as a fabulous stool. Similar to a medicine ball, which promotes dynamic sitting and is often used for therapeutic purposes, Joe Ball also encourages active sitting. The characteristic features of Centro Studi Poltronova, the 50th anniversary and the Joe are embossed on the surface of the Joe Ball.

Inspired by Pop Art and in the style of Radical Design by the designers Gionatan de Pas, Donato d'Urbino and Paolo Lomazzi (Studio DDL), the popularity of baseball player Joe DiMaggio, centerfielder with back number 5 for the New York Yankees, played a decisive role. DiMaggio embodied honesty, respect and loyalty. The son of Sicilian immigrants from a humble background, he left school for sport at the age of 16. In 1949, he signed a contract with the New York Yankees for 100,000 dollars a year. Marilyn Monroe was DiMaggio's great love and the two were a couple from 1952 to 1954. Until DiMaggio's death in 1999, he regularly sent red roses to her grave. Just as the New York Yankees no longer give out the number 5 in his honor, Sudio DDL has created a design monument to the charismatic sportsman with Italian roots with the Joe lounge chair.
The Joe Ball stool is the perfect complement to the legendary lounge armchair Joe, which stars and celebrities from all walks of life love for its uniqueness, luxurious finish and history. Joe Ball is padded with polyurethane foam. The robust cover of the XXL size baseball is made of soft, smooth leather. The round pouf is equipped with a weight, which keeps it mobile but prevents it from rolling around uncontrollably. With a diameter of 52 centimeters, Joe Ball is adapted to the Joe Baseball armchair . Despite its sculptural shape, Joe Ball is by no means short on comfort.
