Illusion with advantages

This principle, which was developed by the Austrian Designer The Fly Candle, implemented by Georg Baldele and his team, offers practical advantages in addition to the illusion. Firstly, the Fly Candle takes up no space on the table, and secondly, the Fly Candle, weaving above the table, illuminates its surroundings in a pleasant way.

Burning duration and burn stop

Besides its special paraffin-cast candle, the Fly Candle Fly lamp impresses with its minimalist and thoughtful design. The hanging mechanism also serves as a drip guard. The 30-centimeter-long candle has a burn time of up to 20 hours. This burn time can be achieved by ensuring the Fly Candle Fly burns in a windless environment and by trimming the wick slightly after burning. Trimming the wick also reduces soot. Ambient temperature also affects the burning time. A burn stop, positioned four to five centimeters from the end of the candle, prevents it from burning uncontrollably. For safety reasons, candles should never be left burning unattended and should be kept out of reach of children and animals. Since it is candlelight, some dripping is naturally unavoidable with the Fly Candle Fly.

Large tables and banquettes

Fly Candle Fly can be attached to the ceiling using a 3-meter-long suspension rope. For a large table or even a long banquet table, it is recommended to use several Fly Candle Fly candles spaced half a meter apart. On a large, round table, several Fly Candle Fly candles can be arranged in a triangular or square formation, creating a cinematic scene, just like in the film "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone." When the young wizards are welcomed in the Hogwarts Great Hall, a whole flock of flying candles hovers above their heads.
