Letters, the fabric design by Designer Gunnar Aagaard Andersen – here in the colors green and black – from 1955, comes with the TAGWERC Art Collection returns to your living room. The original fabric is hand-sewn in Germany. The removable premium filling cushion, also made in Germany by Tagwerc, ensures maximum comfort with the Letters cushion.

The Letters cushion collection by Tagwerc features what is arguably the most famous textile design by the multi-talented artist Gunnar Aagaard Andersen. The Dane's textile designs are characterized by his perception of things as a painter. But it wasn't simply a matter of sketching a design. Aagaard Andersen viewed the creation of a work as an artistic process, from the first brushstroke to the finished object. In the manner of a visual artist, Aagaard Andersen not only developed the pattern for Letters, but also conceived it within the three-dimensionality of a fabric that would lend upholstery and cushions a unique effect. Ultimately, he also contributed to the development of the fabric itself.

The Letters cushion is available in eight different color combinations. Each cushion in the Letters collection is a unique, handcrafted piece. The fabric is used on both sides, and meticulous attention is paid to the perfect pattern alignment. Unlike other cushions, the Letters cushions from the TAGWERC Design STORE have only three seams instead of four. The zipper, color-coordinated with the cushion, is concealed, enhancing both the look and comfort.
