The Birdie Ingo Maurer's series includes pendant lights Birds Birds Birds, Birdie and Birdie's Ring, the ceiling and wall light Birdie's Nest and the table lamp Birdie's Bush. All lights in the Birdie family are powered by a special light source featuring energy-saving LED technology and delivering a light output of 1.5 watts. The light temperature, also known as color temperature, is 2,700 Kelvin, which corresponds to warm white light. TAGWERC In addition to original Ingo Maurer lights, you can also obtain all spare parts for the Birdie lighting family. All lights in the Birdie series are unsuitable for outdoor use and are also unsuitable for rooms with high humidity.

Winged by white feathers

Birds Birds Birds – the triple repetition of the English word for 'birds' describes the special form of these delicate and artistic pendant light. In this pendant lamp, pairs of wings, handcrafted from white goose feathers, serve not only as decorative elements but also as reflectors. They are attached directly to the E27 socket, the socket for the 24 LED bulbs. The manufacturer recommends using hairspray to protect the wings from dirt. The socket is held in place by flexible metal wires. Power is supplied via red and blue cables, symbolically representing the vein and aorta, respectively. In addition to this original 1992 design by lighting designer Ingo Maurer, Birds Birds Birds is also available from TAGWERC in a version with transparent cable connections.

Floating Light Birds

The light fixture can be dimmed using a wall dimmer for electronic transformers. Using a dimmer has the advantage of allowing the light from the Birds Birds Birds pendant lamp to be regulated and adjusted to the desired mood. Whether illuminating a table, providing focused area lighting, or creating ambient light – all this is possible with the Birds Birds Birds pendant lamp. The lamp can be installed as a single accent piece or in a group. When mounted in a group, Birds Birds Birds creates the beautiful and visually striking effect of several flocks of floating, light-filled birds.
