Lucellino – a play on the Italian words 'uccellino' for 'little bird' and 'luce' for 'light' – is the fitting name for this delicate and artistically graceful wall lamp. For in Lucellino, a pair of wings, artfully handcrafted from goose feathers, function not only as decorative elements but also as reflectors.

Indoor only

The Lucellino series by Ingo Maurer includes, in addition to the cordless version, wall and ceiling mounting options. Lucellino Doppio and Lucellino NT the wired Lucellino Wall wall light as well as the cordless Lucellino Doppio wall and ceiling light. With the Lucellino NT and Lucellino Doppio, the transformer is integrated into the wall plate. These lights require no cable or plug. In contrast, the Lucellino WALL model is equipped with a cable and plug: a four-meter-long power cord with a corded transformer and plug, allowing it to be easily operated via a standard wall socket. The Lucellino Doppio can be dimmed using an external dimmer switch, which is not included. All lights in the Lucellino series are not suitable for outdoor use or in rooms with high humidity.

Handcrafted pair of wings

The handcrafted pairs of wings made from goose feathers are attached directly to the E27 socket, the socket for the light bulb. The manufacturer recommends using hairspray to protect the wings from dirt. The red cable is soldered to the LED bulb. The Ambient bulb is an exclusive, specially manufactured bulb produced by Ingo Maurer GmbH, which can only be used in the Lucellino and I Ricchi Poveri lighting families.

The Ambient LED bulb is compatible with previous LED models, but not with previous halogen models.
