Montera table lamp
Design in the style of Spanish tradition
The Montera table lamp from Jaime Hayon masterfully combines past and present in a unique silhouette. It is not only a tribute to Spain's cultural heritage, but also an expression of elegance and tradition. The name and shape of the Montera are inspired by the headgear of the so-called matador. The matador as one of the toreros is the protagonist. His iconic hat, known as the montera, is a symbol of courage, honor and pride in Spanish culture. It represents history and faith, which are deeply rooted in Spanish tradition and are part of the intangible cultural heritage.
