Happy Susto Vase
The Happy Susto Vase is one of the most charismatic ceramic works by Hayon, who has designed a range of decorative ceramics. The Happy Susto design also forms the basis for Hayon's Happy Yeti vases. The white-blue and blue-white Happy Susto ceramic vases are glazed and available from TAGWERC in two different sizes. Happy Susto in size S measures 34 centimeters in height and 24 centimeters in width. The depth of the sculptural Vase is ten centimeters. The Happy Susto Vase in size L has a height of 47 centimetres, a width of 33 centimetres and a depth of 14 centimetres.
Happy Susto, English for 'happy' and Spanish for 'to scare someone' - perhaps meaning 'to surprise someone happily' - reveals Hayon's sense of humor. "The small home accessories not only have a decorative purpose, but can also have an artistic value as well as an emotional value, in which a sense of humor fits in," explains Hayon.
