Total transformation – the Multichair It adapts to the time of day and the preferences of its user. Chair, armchair, lounge object for relaxation and unwinding – the Multichair transforms itself in just a few simple steps. Joe Colombo into any desired seating platform. Furthermore, the two elements that make up the Multichair can also be used individually.

Two elements are connected by a clever design that allows for flexible adjustment. Two adjustable leather straps, guided by chrome-patinated steel bushings, provide the necessary support for the Multichair.

The Multichair from B-Line It consists of two foam-padded seat cushions covered with a bi-elastic wool fabric, optionally in red or black, are related. The fabric, a mixture of wool and polyester, is elastic in both the longitudinal and transverse directions and returns to almost its full original tension after being subjected to stress.

But the Multichair also serves a versatile purpose in small apartments, reading nooks, or relaxation niches. This seating object embodies Joe Colombo's utopia of a design that interacts with the user, occupies less space, and promotes an efficient, uncluttered life. The Multichair is part of the collections and permanent exhibitions of the Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, both in New York, USA.
