Óscar Tusquets describes the Tiger Art Gaulino Easy Chair in his own words: „A limited edition of 50 unique pieces, each seat individually hand-painted by me with my interpretation of a tiger skin. This special edition celebrates both BD’s 50th anniversary and the Year of the Tiger in China. The leather is minimally altered. It is not pressed, thus preserving the animal’s natural imperfections. The frame is stained, revealing the natural grain of the ash wood.„

In the 1970s, the Spanish architect and founding member of BD Barcelona, Óscar Tusquets Blanca, to his compatriot, the Surrealist Salvador Dalí. BD Barcelona's relationship with the art world is deeply rooted in the early days of the Spanish entrepreneur and began in 1972 with Salvador Dalí, one of the greatest painters of the 20th century. Between 1972 and 1974, the Spanish master, together with Óscar Tusquets, developed the "Saliva Sofa," that legendary art sofa inspired by the lips of the American film actress Mae West – actually Mary Jane West – and produced for the Mae West Hall in the Theatre Museum in Figueres. A first prototype was created in 1973. It wasn't until thirty years later, in 2004, that it was finally unveiled as "„Dalilips“Sofa will be available.”.
The Gaulino Chair also dates back to the early 21st century, specifically 2010. Gaulino is an armchair that, despite its comfort, appears light. This is achieved through a lower backrest and the elimination of all superfluous elements. In this way, the Gaulino Chair offers a different kind of seating experience.
