Sustainability and quality
The Line sideboard is made of MDF material with a thickness of 12 millimetres and, like the entire Montana Selection collection was certified with the EU Ecolabel in 2019. This guarantees a long service life and environmentally friendly material selection and production. With a width of 139.2 centimeters, a height of 35.4 centimeters (carcass only) and a depth of 30 centimeters, Line fits perfectly into any room. Like all furniture from the Selection collection by Montana, the Line shelf is painted with water-based paints. Keeping things tidy and creating an attractive eye-catcher at the same time - both are possible with this sideboard.
The Montana furniture system
"Making room for personality" is the slogan Montana uses to describe and advertise the furniture system. Lassen designed the system in 1982, originally with 36 different modules in four different depths and in just a few colors. Over the years, the Montana Selection palette has grown to over 40 colors and, in collaboration with the Danish color expert Margrethe Odgaard, has been adapted to the demands we have today for functional, flexible and inviting interior design.
Great variety of colors
Thanks to the variety of colours in the Montana Selection collection, almost any color concept can be realized individually and without great effort. Longevity is a clear priority for Montana. The LINE sideboard was designed by
Peter J. Lassen
Peter Joakim Lassen is one of the most visionary Danish entrepreneurs of the second half of the 20th century. Lassen developed his basic design for a modular shelving system as director of Fritz Hansen and later realized it with his own company Montana Møbler. An entire series of storage furniture is created from the basic design: shelves, containers and cabinets. Lassen relies on Denmark as a production location and is a visionary in the home office sector.
