Philippe Starck completely reinterpreted the classic table lamp for Flos, using state-of-the-art technology. The main body of the Miss K table lamp by Philippe Starck for Flos consists of an outer shade in the shape of an open cone, which emits direct light upwards and downwards. The inside of the outer shade is silver (Miss K in silver and red) or gold (Miss K in black). This outer shell is vacuum-coated with aluminum and becomes almost transparent when the Miss K lamp is switched on. This reveals the inner diffuser made of injection-molded polycarbonate (PC), which is stylized in the shape of a trophy and is completely illuminated.

This unique design and function of the Flos Miss K not only illuminates the table lamp itself, but also bathes its immediate surroundings in a harmonious interplay of light and shadow. Miss K features a power cord with a dimmer switch, allowing for stepless dimming of lamps in the Flos Miss K collection. Almost any opal-coated bulb of the appropriate size with a standard E27 socket, up to 100 watts, can be used.

Miss K is based on a design by Philippe Starck from 2003/2004.
