The best design ideas are often based on everyday shapes and a skillful design language, characterized by clarity and reduction. This is exactly what describes the Lampiatta Luminaire family of the design trio Studio DDLan association of Italian architects and designers Designer Gionatan (also Jonathan) de Pas (1932 to 1991), Donato d'Urbino (born 1935) and Paolo Lomazzi (born 1936). The Lampiatta luminaire family was then, and still is today, characterized by Stilnovo made in Italy. It consists of the Lampiatta pendant light and the Lampiatta table lampwhich at the same time wall light can be mounted. The Lampiatta lights is characterized by its minimalist design combined with sophisticated, modern functionality. Lampiatta is representative of Radical Design in Italy in the 1960s and 1970s. Hemisphere with brim
On the one hand, the silhouette of the lampiatta pendant light is reminiscent of the stylized shape of a headgear, the so-called Saturno, also known as the Cappello Romano and colloquially as the 'Don Camillo hat'. Especially in Italy, Catholic clergymen wear this perfectly round hat with a brim. On the other hand, the shape of the Lampiatta lamp is reminiscent of the planet Saturn. The lampshade is made of aluminum and can be TAGWERC in five different colors - white, black, yellow, vermilion and green - and two different sizes - with diameters of 28.2 and 50 centimetres. For maximum light reflection, the inside of all shades - including the colored ones - is white. The matching LED bulb with an E27 socket is included in the scope of delivery. The light color is 2,700 Kelvin, which means that the pendant light Lampiatta provides warm white light. The Lampiatta pendant light has a 2.5 meter long cable.
