Radical design meets pop art design
The most ingenious design ideas are often based on everyday shapes and a reduction bordering on genius. This is exactly what describes the Fante luminaire family from the design trio Studio DDLan association of Italian architects and designers Designer Gionatan (also Jonathan) de Pas (1932 to 1991), Donato d'Urbino (born 1935) and Paolo Lomazzi (born 1936). Then as now, the Fante family of luminaires is characterized by Stilnovo manufactured in Italy. It consists of the Fante ceiling light and the Fante table lamp. Both lights are characterized by their special design in combination with sophisticated, modern functionality. Ball and cone
On the one hand, the silhouette of the Fante table lamp is reminiscent of the stylized shape of a lady wearing a dress and wide-brimmed hat; on the other hand, Fante looks like a skilful combination of geometric shapes such as a sphere and a cone. The cone coated with silicone (EPDM rubber: ethylene propylene diene monomer) acts as the body of the Fante table lamp and is available in two colors - red and black with a matt finish - available. The spherical, opal white head of the Fante table lamp acts both as a light bulb and as a support for the lampshade, the diffuser of the Fante table lamp. This diffuser consists of white painted aluminum and is simply placed on the lamp head. The lampshade can be infinitely adjusted and even turned around. In this way, the light cone can be regulated, controlled and the light individually directed.
Lightweight and light accent
The Fante table lamp has a height of 28 centimeters and a diameter of 30.1 centimeters. The light source is included in the scope of delivery, but can be replaced if lost or damaged. TAGWERC can also be purchased separately. The Fante table lamp has a two-meter black cable. Weighing just under 1.2 kilograms, the Fante table lamp is also suitable for delicate shelves or a console in the hallway or entrance area. Of course, Fante can also be used as a bedside lamp or lighting accent on a side table, in a study or dressing room. The light color is 2,700 Kelvin, which means that the table lamp Fante provides warm white light.
