The VP1 Carpet lay Designer carpets based on the model design by Verner Panton Re-released from 1978. The rug, made of 100% virgin wool, is in the color combination black–white The geometric pattern consists of differently sized squares typical of Verner Panton, which, due to their special arrangement, create an optical illusion when viewed closely.

With its striking appearance, the VP1 rug from Designercarpets is a real eye-catcher, whether used as a runner in a hallway or passageway between two rooms, or as a cozy wall covering in front of a seating area in the living room or bedroom. On the wall, the VP1 rug evokes a graphic relief in the style of Josef Albers.


The exceptional comfort of the VP1 rug is enhanced by the material used: pure new wool. As a renewable and biodegradable resource, pure new wool is particularly valuable from an ecological perspective. Its other positive properties include: robustness, dirt resistance, durability, warmth, air purification, moisture regulation, and flame retardancy.
