Fun Metall 0DA, a unique pendant light consisting of small metal plates, was relaunched by the Danish label Verpan to mark the 50th anniversary of the FUN light series design. Based on a design by Verner Panton from 1964, the Fun Metall 0DA pendant lamp uses state-of-the-art materials. The Fun Metall 0DA pendant light therefore combines the charm of a design classic with the advantages of modern technology. Alternatively, we offer the luminaire with real mother-of-pearl as Fun Shell 0DM.

Fun 0DA FUN METALL

With a light source of up to 75 watts, the Fun Metal 0DA pendant light a pleasant, indirect mood light. The reflective surface of the metal discs bathes the immediate surroundings of the pendant light in an unusual interplay of light and shadow. With a diameter of 53 centimetres and a height of 76 centimetres, the Fun Metal 0DA looks more like an opulent chandelier that attracts everyone's attention. Whether in the entrance hall, above the dining table, in the kitchen with stainless steel elements or in the bedroom with warm or cold colors - the countless metal discs reflect the interior and adapt to any environment.

The high-gloss chrome-plated frame of the Fun 0DA pendant light from Verpan has four metal rings that increase in size from top to bottom, from which chains of different lengths with metal discs hang down. Small metal rings connect the individual metal plates to each other. This connection keeps the individual links flexible. Depending on the heat generated by the light source, the metal plates begin to move. When they meet, a gentle melody sounds, similar to a wind chime. This effect is also achieved by a breeze that reaches the metal discs.

The Fun metal 0DA pendant light is produced by the Danish manufacturer Verpan. It is part of the Fun luminaire family from Designer Verner Pantonconsists of table lamps and pendant luminaires in various sizes. The Fun lights are available in the metal version with aluminum plates, while the Shell variant of the Fun luminaire are made of genuine mother-of-pearl.
