Fun 1DM shell lamp
Panton, known for Pop Art design and spectacular lighting, applied a simple yet ingenious design principle to the Fun 1DM pendant lamp. The iridescent and translucent surface of the shell discs simultaneously filters and reflects the light, bathing the ceiling and walls in a unique interplay of light and shadow. Furthermore, the light source is positioned in the center of the pendant light The Fun 1DM bulb is concealed by the shell-shaped discs, creating a very pleasant, indirect light. Depending on the heat generated by the bulb, the shell plates to move. When they meet, a gentle melody sounds, similar to a wind chime.
