UFO

by Verner Panton, 1975

The Ufo-lights float in the air as extravagant luminaires. Ring-shaped plastic tubes suspended from metal chains form the three-dimensional body of the space ships. Verner Panton created five different hanging lamps of this type in 1975. The lamp with the type designation VP0498-00-B-D07 has been seen in the domestic sky again since 2009. In this UFO pendant lights version, the plastic tubes conceal the light source in the center and reflect the light at the same time.

Architects and Designerinfluenced by the events, deal with the topic of space. So also Designer Verner Pantonwho, among other things, invented the UFO lamp.

Suspended individually in a corner or several lights in the lounge area - the pendant light Ufo is extremely sculptural and unusual. Ufo - the world is not enough!
