Inspired by the impressions from his surroundings, he created Designer Verner Panton In one of his later creative periods in 1980, he designed an entire family of lamps consisting of both downward and upward-opening goblets and gave them the name Pantop, a variation of his own surname.
The designer's signature is engraved in black letters on the base of the Pantop Matt table lamp lamp.
