Architect and Designer Viggo Boesen presented the Lounge Chair Little Petra for the first time in 1938 as part of the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers Guild Exhibition. Further international exhibitions and prizes followed. Little Petra The original name: "Lille Petra", was as impressive then as it is today with its compact size and special shape. The curved backrest of the Little Petra lounge chair wraps around the silhouette of the sitter, making this lounge armchair feel particularly cozy and comfortable and playfully overshadowing large, voluminous wing chairs. The pouf was developed in 2020 as a complement to the classic Little Petra armchair and matched to it in terms of shape and height.

Low to the ground, open and embracing, Little Petra embodies the essence of a lounge chair and enables all kinds of seating positions in every conceivable environment: lobby, lounge, living room, club, men's room, nursing room, children's room, bedroom, hallway, office. "A lot of work has been invested to ensure the greatest possible comfort, from the seat to the upholstery," says the manufacturer &Tradition, which relaunched the armchair in 2018. Emphasis was placed on the use of natural materials: The chair's legs are made of oak or walnut, echoing Viggo Boesen's love of natural materials. Covered with real, short- or long-pile sheepskin, the comfortable and cozy character of the Little Petra armchair plus pouf is visually and haptically enhanced. The vegan version of the Little Petra plus pouf is upholstered in high-quality fabrics.

Little Petra is not an off-the-peg armchair , but an armchair that is only made to order in the selected configuration.
