Low to the ground, open and 'embracing', Fox embodies the essence of a lounge chair and enables comfortable, relaxed sitting in every conceivable environment: lobby, lounge, living room, club, men's room, nursing room, children's room, bedroom, hallway, office. The use of natural materials has also been emphasized: The entire armchair is made of rattan and is reminiscent of Viggo Boesen's love of natural materials.

The Fox Lounge Chair is produced in Indonesia using traditional craftsmanship. Rattan sticks from the rattan palm, also harvested by hand, serve as the basis and working material. They are interwoven with individual fibers. Their special anatomy makes rattan sticks particularly light and elastic. To weave the armchair, rattan is first steamed for a few minutes before it can be processed by basket makers into Fox Lounge Chair . Sika Design states that the entire production process is certified according to the SA8000 standard and complies with the ISO14001 standard. This certification is intended to guarantee maximum ecological and social sustainability.
