Georg Jensen
The Georg Jensen brand offers a wide range of exclusive home accessories, household items and jewelry. These include Panton Tray, a bowl designed by Verner Panton in 1988, and a vases collection from 1987. All five Verner Panton objects are made by hand from stainless steel or sterling silver. The Georg Jensen brand has its origins in Denmark at the beginning of the 20th century. The Dane Georg Arthur Jensen founded the silversmiths Georg Jensen Sølvsmedie in Copenhagen in 1904. Like Verner Panton, Georg Arthur Jensen completed his studies at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, but unlike Panton, half a century earlier and in the field of sculpture. While Georg Arthur Jensen produced works in the formal language of Art Nouveau in his early years, he later began to produce high-quality silver designs by others Designer such as Arne Jacobsen and Verner Panton.
