The furniture manufacturer Montana Møbler from the Danish island of Funen was founded by furniture specialist Peter J. Lassen in 1982. His son Joakim Lassen manages the design and communication division of the company, which specializes in interior design, particularly shelving, tables and chairsspecializes in interior design. The core of the Montana collection at premium interior designer TAGWERC is the 6060 shelving system by Peter J. Lassen as well as design classics by Arne Jacobsen and Verner Panton. The Designerall Danish, can also be found in the Scandinavian design category.

Shelving pioneer

Montana Møbler is owner-managed and specializes in the production of its own shelving system 6060, which was designed by company founder Peter J. Lassen back in 1974. The lateral thinker Lassen used banana crates as a model. While other furniture systems at the time only offered the option of horizontal expansion, the furniture system devised by Lassen made it possible for the first time to customize not only the width and layout but also the height. With the Montana shelving system 6060, the customer was thus able for the first time to put together his own customized shelving unit according to the modular principle. Today, the Montana shelving system consists of 42 basic modules in 4 depths and 49 colors and surfaces. Montana's Danish factory has 20,000 square meters of high-tech production space. In this context, the Montana value chain certainly deserves special mention: the raw materials go in on one side and the finished design object comes out on the other.

Individuality and versatility

Another special feature of Montana Møbler is the individuality and versatility of the shelving systems, such as the Montana Free Shelving System. Twelve models and eight textile panels enable adaptation to the actual room conditions. And all this without having to commission a carpenter to make a costly made-to-measure unit that will be completely useless when you move house.

A second pillar of Montana and the addition to the Montana collection at TAGWERC are shelves for every conceivable purpose and room as well as tables and chairs, including Designer Arne Jacobsen, Verner Panton, Jakob Wagner, Stefan Werwerka, Joakim Lassen, Salto & Sinsgaard.

Panton Collection

Panton's wire shelf Panton Wire for example, the Panton Bachelor Chair with Panton Bachelor Footstool and Panton Bachelor Table as well as the Panton One chair family, consisting of the dining chair Panton One, Panton One Lounge, Panton One Bar and Panton One Lounge Kitchen are manufactured by Montana and supplied in the original by design specialist TAGWERC. Not forgetting the Panton Table, a table in two sizes for use as a small dining table, side table or coffee table.
