Capsule Plaza
Salone del Mobile from April 15 to 21, 2024
Salone del Mobile 2024 is casting its shadow and we are receiving daily invitations from design manufacturers, artists and curators to the world's leading trade fair for interior design. Centro Studi Poltronova, or Poltronova for short, will once again be represented at the exhibition grounds in Milan's Linate district and will also play a role in the so-called 'Capsule Plaza'.
About Capsule Plaza
Capsule Plaza is an event that takes place during Milan Design Week. It is a mixture of trade fair and collective exhibition that aims to bring together Designer and brings together companies from different creative sectors. The event combines industry and culture in the form of a multi-sensory curation that aims to encompass interior architecture, design, technology, innovation and craftsmanship.
Satellite city and creative quarter
For the 2024 edition, which will take place from April 15 to 21, Capsule Plaza will not only take over the Spazio Maiocchi space, but will also incorporate a new satellite city: the creative district of 10 Corso Como, with newly renovated art and design galleries by the interdisciplinary agency 2050+1. This event is curated by Alessio Ascari, founder and creative director of Capsule, together with architect Paul Cournet, and returns for its second edition to the site of Milan Design Week 2024.
Who's Who of design
The invitation provides a preview of the Capsule Plaza 2024 program, which will be held at two venues. Artists and design partners
Exhibitions and installations will be accompanied by a program of pop-ups, talks and workshops involving a wide range of artists. These include the award-winning Australian Designer Marc Newson, the celebrated British Designer Max Lamb, his fellow countryman and fashion designer Samuel Ross and others. The third issue of the magazine will be published to coincide with the opening of the exhibition. According to the publisher, the annual publication reinterprets the concept of radical design for today's world. We are already very excited and will report back here in the TAGWERC Design STORE and on social media after our return - with the hottest trends in our luggage.
