Panthella

The Panthella light series is an absolute lighting classic from the former Danish lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen. The table lamp range has grown in recent years with the Panthella Mini, Panthella Portable and Panthella 320 . Louis Poulsen has now decided to rename the Panthella table lamps , presumably to make it easier to distinguish between them.

Panthella table lamp in four sizes

The trend-setting prefix word "Panthella" is retained for all table lamps in this series. This is followed by the size of the shade diameter in millimetres, i.e. "Panthella 160", "Panthella 250", "Panthella 320" and "Panthella 400". The latter corresponds to the original design from 1971, while the former and smallest corresponds to the Panthella Portable. We know "Panthella 250" as "Panthella Mini" and the intermediate size "Panthella 320" has always been called that - at least since the luminaire was launched to mark the 50th anniversary of the design classic.

Overview of changes

So don't be surprised if you come across Panthella table lamps under different names since June 1, 2023. To give you a better overview, we have listed the changes once again. Of course, you can still obtain all original lights and original spare parts for the Panthella light series by Louis Poulsen from TAGWERC, the specialist for design classics. While there are now four Panthella table lamps , there is still one version of the Panthella floor lamp. This luminaire is therefore not affected by a new name or renaming.
